How do I book a skip bin?
Booking is simple. Select your waste type, choose your bin size, enter your delivery details, and complete your booking. No quotes, no callbacks, and no waiting around.
How quickly can my skip bin be delivered?
We offer fast and reliable delivery. Same-day or next-day delivery may be available depending on your location and bin availability.
Do I need to be home for delivery?
No. As long as full payment has been received at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled delivery date, you've provided clear placement instructions, and there is safe access to the delivery location, we can deliver your skip bin without you being present. If you have specific placement requirements, we recommend providing photos or detailed instructions when booking to ensure the bin is positioned correctly.
Pricing and Payments
Are your prices fixed?
Yes. Our prices are fixed and displayed online, so you know exactly what you'll pay before booking. Our advertised prices include standard waste disposal and the applicable weight allowance for your selected waste type.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A $100 deposit is required for all skip bin bookings to secure your delivery date and time. Once your deposit has been received, your booking will be confirmed.
Are there any additional charges?
Additional charges may apply for specific items that attract separate disposal fees, including: Mattress: $65 each Car Tyres: $20 each Truck Tyres: $40 each These items must be declared at the time of booking. Additional charges may also apply if: Weight limits are exceeded Waste types are mixed incorrectly Prohibited items are placed in the bin The bin is overloaded above the rim
When do I pay?
A $100 deposit is required to secure all skip bin bookings. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 24 hours prior to your scheduled delivery date. Payment can be made via: Direct deposit Credit or debit card Cash (by prior arrangement) Bookings may be cancelled if full payment has not been received before the delivery deadline.
Will I receive an invoice?
Yes. A tax invoice will be emailed to you once your booking has been confirmed.
Waste Types
What can I put in a General Waste skip bin?
General household waste, furniture, toys, clothing, packaging, non-hazardous rubbish and general clean-up materials.
What can I put in a Green Waste skip bin?
Grass clippings, branches, leaves, shrubs, weeds and garden vegetation.
What can I put in a Mixed Heavy Waste skip bin?
Concrete, bricks, pavers, tiles, soil and other approved heavy materials.
What can I put in a Mixed Commercial Waste skip bin?
Construction and renovation waste including: timber, plasterboard, packaging materials, cabinetry, flooring, non-hazardous building materials, and general construction debris.
Can I mix different waste types?
No. Waste types must be separated into the correct category to comply with disposal and recycling requirements.
Delivery and Collection
How much access is required for delivery?
Please ensure: Clear vehicle access No low-hanging branches No overhead obstructions Adequate space for our truck to safely manoeuvre
Can I move the skip bin after delivery?
No. Once the skip bin has been delivered and positioned by our driver, it must not be moved. Moving a skip bin can cause damage to property, vehicles, underground services, or the bin itself. For safety reasons, only Bin There Done That Skips is authorised to relocate or reposition a bin. If you need the bin moved after delivery, please contact our team.
Can the skip bin damage my driveway?
Our drivers take every precaution during delivery. However, customers should ensure the placement area is suitable for the weight of the bin and its contents.
How full can I fill the skip bin?
Waste must not extend above the top rim of the bin. Overloaded bins cannot be legally transported and may incur additional charges.
How long can I keep the skip bin?
Our standard hire period is included in your booking. If you require a longer hire period, please contact us to discuss extension options.
Where can the skip bin be placed?
Skip bins can be placed on private property such as driveways, construction sites and residential properties. Placement on public land may require council approval.
Prohibited Items
What items cannot be placed in the skip bin?
The following items are strictly prohibited: asbestos, chemicals, paints and solvents, gas bottles, batteries, oils and fuels, medical waste, hazardous materials, explosives, and fire extinguishers. If you are unsure about an item, please contact us before booking.

Cancellation and charges
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. Please contact us as soon as possible. This may result in the deposit being forfeited to cover scheduling and operational costs.

Deposits are refundable if a booking is cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice prior to the scheduled delivery date. Cancellations made within 24 hours of delivery may result in the deposit being forfeited to cover scheduling and operational costs.
Can I change my bin size after booking?
In many cases, yes. Contact us as early as possible and we will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability.
